2017 Color Trends--Get the look with CeCe Caldwell's Paints from Vintage Bette

It's a great time of year for painters, designers and all of us who are constantly improving our surroundings with a coat of paint.

All the major paint companies announce their colors of the year and release palettes while the rest of us do our best to imitate them and get the look with what we like to use best.  As a furniture flipper my choice of paint is CeCe Caldwell's Chalk + Clay Paints so I will be spending a lot of time over the next few days mixing and playing with these colors in an attempt to share recipes for how to get these looks.

Traditionally my favorites come from Benjamin Moore and they did not disappoint this year!  I am very excited to figure out how to make Wish, Stormy Monday, Porcelain and, of course, all of the whites...my favorite color (or lack thereof)!

The color of the year for Benjamin Moore is Shadow and I really love the moodiness it invokes.  It is a dark color and with trends moving toward dark walls it should be a hit for a den or office.  I think it would be amazing in a dining room with white wainscoting.

Pantone announced the 2017 color of the year as Greenery and I love it.  This color would be great for accents in just about any style of home and I think it will explode in the spring when everyone starts lightening their decor.

If you want to paint a buffet or dresser or even something smaller like an accent table or mirror frame use Spring Hill Green by CeCe Caldwell's Chalk + Clay Paints.
